need to setup driving wheel

Dear friends,
My friend just dropped by and he gave me his old typhoon power wheel with brakes n gears n stuff...but,he did'nt give me any drivers for it...how do i connect it to play GTR 2? 1 cable coming out from the steering wheel looks like a vga cable....i have no clue on how to set it up....plzz help....

Either it's a gameport wheel from circa 1990 or that cable is for connecting the wheel to the pedals.
Try setting it up as a generic wheel and pray that one of the XP drivers work.

If it's a gameport wheel, I don't think you will have a good experience with it in GTR 2. Too many precision issues with those old gaming peripherals.
 
The main problem is that when i try o connect the cable to the gameport ,it doesnt fit...the cable(wid d pins) is too big for the gameport....
i really dont know wat to do..everything is set except that i cant connect the main cable to the gameport

Gameport :P I hope you have an equally old sound card or an onboard sound solution on your board with a gameport extender panel. If you don't, then try looking for a gameport to USB convertor. I couldn't find one years ago.
