seriously I won't recommend running a Six Core FX 6300 [ even though it's a 95W ] TDp cpu or a eight core beast like a FX-8350 on the motherboard Op has .. lol, this board does not even support FX-8350.

I would suggest to get these :

FX 6300 - 7.3k
Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 @ 4k
Seasonic S12II 520 @ 4k
Dell S2240L @ 9.2K

it's overshooting your budget but every component worth it's price or if you want you can keep the mobo you have, get a FX 4300 @6.5k
 
Socket AM3+ is one part. How much power the board can supply is another. Your MSI board looks like its rated for a max of 95W TDP procs, and it doesn't look reliable. The FX-8xxx procs (available here) are all 125W+.

just for the record : FX 8100/ FX 8140 / FX 8300 all have 95W TDP but it does not mean Op should get one as some 95W 6 and 8 cores cpus can make system non stable [ specially with Turbo Enabled ] with a cheap motherboard which has max cpu support limit of 95W TDP.

Dell ST2210b Screen @ 5.5K
Gigabyte GA 970 Ds-3 Motherboard @ 57K OR ASrock 970 Extreme 3 Motherboard @ 6.8K

Where are you getting the Dell 22' for 5.5k?

for psu spend 500 bucks more to get seasonic eco 500 and for mobo get asus m5a97 r.2.0 at 6.5k

Get a decent IPS panel like the Dell S2240L (~9k) or the AOC i2251fwe (~8k). A TN panel is going to be a huge disappointment when you shift from your CRT monitor. Your monitor is going to be the one component that will outlast all other components in your PC, so might as well get something good. You can probably scale back the motherboard to a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 or Asus M5A78L-M/USB3. Unless you're planning to overclock. The CM Thunder isn't a good option, get a Seasonic S12II 430.

I stand corrected. I should've mentioned the FX 8xxx procs available here. IINM neither of those models are available here :)

The ECO uses unreliable Teapo caps on the secondary. Not worth it.
 
ok, bunk eco 500 but too bad we don't have many choices when it comes to buying a pc component.. long back I wanted to buy a 95w tdp version of a cpu but that was available nowhere.. anyway, thanks for your reply.

Its really helpful ..[DOUBLEPOST=1374823464][/DOUBLEPOST]Dell ST2210b Screen This particular model is not available any where in the market and i am going for this one only due to 2 reasons first the budget and secondly this particular model comes with all three input ports i.e. VGA, HDMI, DVI
