Just go to any phone shop and they will unlock the phone for a mere Rs.500.OK.

Are you sure about it cause i dont think these devices can be unlock by anyone else other than AT&T and Nokia.

I think he is referring to software unlocks. I've unlocked my Sprint HTC One on my own without paying anybody. For some phones, it is possible but not all. Check XDA for more details.
