Need a washing machine for two bachelors. A small one will do. Have a lot of confusion whether to buy semi-automatic or fully automatic. Will use it only once in a week. Need one that consumes less water:S Which is the best brand:huh: Suggest me guys.

10K is not a sufficient budget for the best brand in Fully Automatic machines, still you can check out Videocon & Godrej. Increasing your budget slightly higher can get you a Samsung or LG.

If you have continuous water supply, go for Fully Automatic, else a Semi-Automatic will make more sense.

You can check out Samsung & LG. During my own research, I had zeroed in on a Whirlpool, but I found that Whirlpool users have had a lot of issues with their Service, hence stayed away from it.

I bought a Samsung Fully Automatic 6 Kg, for a festive price of 11730 in March this year from Vijay Sales Mumbai. The listed price was 12730 and the retail price was 13695. Will let you know the exact model number too. MRP of white goods are just indicative, and you should bargain with the dealer as much as possible since margins are normally very high on them. Festivals are the best times to buy, even otherwise, there are always some or the other offers running, so take advantage of them. Also check out several dealers, each will give you a different price.

I am happy with my Samsung, even though these are early days; the Service guy promptly called me within 3 days of purchase for giving the demo of the machine, and when he was unable to come, he made sure another guy came at the decided time.

Happy Buying !!

well if u want a washing machine that uses less water u have to go for front loading washing machines.

front loading machines are expensive than top loading, and would way exceed his budget. front loading ones start from 16k, and need some kind of permanent plumbing.

i'd suggest the Samsung SilverNano (fully automatic) 5/5.5 or 6 kg. they'll cost you about 12k. plus samsung has good after sales service.
