PC Peripherals Need Your advice Folks

Budget = 50 k ... wow 2 years patience of no upgrades

Im looking at

1. Sound card - looking at x fi's + 5.1 speakers ( upto 30 k )
Ive heard xfi now cost 11k for the low end and the xfi platinum is 15 k , is it true ?

2. Graphics Card ( upto 15 k , AGP ) - 6800 gt / x 800 xl ???
3. Hard Disk drive ( upto 5 k ) - how much do 160 gb , 200 or 300 gb cost ???

Im also open to 2nd hand offers with warranties if you have something good to offer , lemme know

XFi the lowest one is around 8k now i think. For 5.1 z5500 is your best choice. Check out the market, there is a z5500 for 15k for sale atm.

Graphics cards: Switch is selling his 6800gt for 13.5k. Else 6800gt agp is still 20k new. for AGP the choices are pretty limited. x800xl could be ordered in agp on special basis.

But, I agree with Blade abt the speakers.... mandar has a Z-5500 for sale for 15K. Unbeatable at that price.

abt the HDD, mandar selling a 300gigs seagate with warranty...bargain a bit, it'll be a very good buy
