Laptops Need your advice: How/Where to recycle my old laptop?

I have a 6 year old laptop(HP Notebook - 15-ay007tx | 4gb ram | i5 6gen)
The screen, motherboard and the charger works.
The body and hinges are broken and the keybaord is a mess as well. I was thinking about turing it into a desktop, maybe play around with it, but I don't really have a use for it.
Is there any reliable place in Bangalore where I can get some cash for the parts?

There are a-lot of hardware enthusiasts here, so you have a good chance to find someone who might take it off your hands for a price (probably for more than what the shopkeepers will give). Try to put up a listing, you never know who's in need of the parts that you hold. Good luck.
