hello I Am GUDDU I usually do streaming recently i have upgraded my cpu from ryzen 5 3600 to ryzen 7 5800x but i not upgraded my GPU which Gigabyte gtx 1660 super 6gb i am planning to buy new cpu i need your suggestion i can buy 3060 12gb which is now i am getting at 23000 and if i wait this month i can buy 4060 8gb graphic card which is costing me around 32000
i am confused so please help

I suggest picking up a 2nd hand 3060ti or 3070; they are both better than 4060. Make sure its within warranty. You can also consider a GPU with hardware AV1 encoding/decoding, as Av1 will become the best codec for streaming the future. Intel's a750 8Gb (rs20000) and a770 16Gb (rs32000) could be a consideration.

2nd hand 3060Ti with warranty is like 18k & have seen used 6700XT under 20k as well (rare). I will prefer the latter for gaming because of VRAM.

As a 3070 owner, I have seen many cases of 8GB VRAM being an issue, this will get worse in the future. I game at 1440p though, so the situation will get worse for me really fast really soon.

For new GPU, my recommendation is 3060 12GB under 25k or 6750XT under 35k. 4060 is a bad choice, unless priced under 25k.

I would suggest going over the "60" moniker and buying a "70" either from the 3000 series or the 4000(for future proofing) series. If you are inclined to shift towards AV1 encoding in the future, I would second the thoughts of @lukedias of going ahead with buying an Intel GPU (just beware of the glitches and do your due diligence for the specific games u play and stream). You can also check on the 2nd hand market for Graphics cards that have been recently RMAed or used too little. and within warranty... Just check the card vendor's policy about ownership transfer or the willingness of the previous owner to help you with bills and all for future RMA situations.

Either way, you will be left around with a 1660Super, so btr use it as a dedicated stream GPU or sell it to recoup some cost of the new one.
