Hdd prices have increased by 25% in last 6-8months due to thai flood issue so you will not get it @ those prices till 2014 so you have to spend extra ...

@OP Today in 2k you can only get a dead/scrap 1tb HDD.
Check the rates of today... 1TB should cost you >4000 at the min.
