Surprising though it may seem, it's for the first time I am having two Hard disks in my comp.
Last night I put 250GB that I got after RMA for a dead drive into my comp. I followed the plain simple procedure: open the cabbie, put sata connectors, put power connectors and bingo! restart the comp. Now it has two disks 500GB on which there is OS and 250 GB
When I start my comp, at POST it shows I have two HDs and both are set as Master. my comp runs fine but I am wondering if two masters are alright in a comp. Also, I suppose my DVD drive too is set as master. :ashamed:
I also ran HD Tach and both drives perform admirably and in sync with their stated capacity.
