I dont understand when ppl give negative reps why dont they post the reasone behind it... I have got two negative reps and for no reasone at all... Atleast thats what i think... If somebody is giving a negative rep he/she should atleast post a valid reasone for it...



And if you look at the same thread is nothing which i have posted in there to deserve a negative rep...

Oh well... those are not negative reps, my friend!
Those are just neutral reps.
There is something called "Power" in vB forums. Once, a user gets some reps, then only he can give out reps to a person. Otherwise, the reps given out by him appear as neutral.
If you would have gotten negative reps, it would have been indicated in red!

and me? well i dont get any kinda repsm so no worries for me :D
 
switch he didn't give ya -ve reps(actually negative reps can be given only by staff) but he gave you =ve reps. Unfortunately his repping power is 0(wolfman found some grt posts on forums i think) :ohyeah:

OMG! I just checked out the attachment you posted! This guy has repped two guys in each minute! Within a matter of 6 minutes, he has repped 10 guys! Hmm... such use of the rep system leads to abuse, I suppose! :S
 
^^ not really.. i think we have a system in place where u can only rep so many posts in a day!

you have seen just one page though.. wolfman sure likes this forum. Unfortunately with 0 rep power,, you can't do much
 
Well I am not aware of wolfman and other creatures but my rep bars have gone down from three green to two.Wonder why?
PS:wolfman likes me.thats a pleasant change. :rofl:

Okie heres a couple

1. The neutral reps appear in purple right?

2. I had recieved one from this dude who has a fair amount himself... but the reps I got from him show up in purple. Is it because at the time he repped me he dint have any?

3.Is a rep equal to 21.5 pts? Coz i have 2 green reps and my total pts is 43.

Hmmm... so the rep system starts and ends with the mods... nice... nice...

1. What do you mean by purple, we have -

Grey (neutral)

Green (+ve rep)

Red (-ve rep)

2. Maybe, if by purple you mean grey.

3. No there is no specific value for individual rep points.

Lastly, what exactly do you mean by this, do clarify -
