I need some Nero 7 quick help;

I have some tv shows on my computer which are divx files. I have a dvd which can play divx files. I need to know what option I should use in Nero so that I can burn the tv shows onto the dvd-rw and play them back on my dvd player.

Thanks

I have a Divx player too, it beats the hell out of having to convert files, or play them off computer. You can also wait till you have a bunch of Divx movies and burn them to a Dvd. Just make sure you label the disk so you don't forget what movies you have on there later :P.. I did that w/the 1st few, and it was a pain finding a specific movie afterwards.

Why wait... burn muti sessions.... according to my experience a DVD can burn between 9 to 11 sessions no matter if the disc is full or half complete after the last session. However I have an impression DVD players need that the disk is finalised before they can read them - not 100% sure about this.

The reason I suggested that, is because not all Divx players will read multi-session ;)

I think you may be right - but when burning the last session if the disc is finalized will the disc be read in a DVD player ?

I burnt a multi-session disk but the video is not good. It plays a little slow then I what it should play and does not play in the right flow.

Any ideas?

I think Nero has an Option to make divx compatible with Divix players... not sure where it is, but it burns movie a little differently, has helped 1 or twice in the past for me.

Do you mean the option on the right side ? "DVD High compability mode... "

Doesn't that option only come when you are burning to watch on non-Divx compatible DVD players?

... frankly I dont burn movies as I have no source for origianls....so I am not in a position to answer your question....

this does not convert the movie but changes the fourcc codes of the avi file, it is for computability issues only... it does not add significant time to burn.

:)
