Nero 7 sux...keeps getting corrupted dunno y...i cant use the basic burning rom...have 2 use Nero express every times...sux...so me also back on Nero 6..:)

Yeah nero 7 is a bloatware,..and the nero scout crap made my system come to a crawl, also the application hanged after every burn.:@

Ended up like many others.. back on nero 6 :hap2:
 
The core nero burning rom engine is still used from the old nero 6.6 release. So if you guys want nero burning rom and not express you need to install 6.6 or 6.3 first and then install 7. Uninstalling 6 and installing 7 won't give you burning rom but some error and crashes.

Nero 7 has been touchwood for me uptil now.
 
I believe if you so to Start-> Run-> and type this
regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll"

Nero Scout will be disabled (forgot where i got this tip from though)...
 
Many XP users will have problems running Nero Burning ROM in Nero 7. It'l start up n crash. Its a known problem and even the ahead guys are aware of it.

The sloution is pretty simple,...right clik on nero burning rom shortcut, and go to compatibility tab,....say RUN in Windows 2000 mode. It'll work like a charm !!

Nero 7 is definitely worse than 6, almost same features too much extra hassle. But y do you ppl have to use nero in the first place. Try out Alcohol 120%, the best disk burning software ull find. Absolutely clean and simple interface lets you do anything you want to.
