DeepBurner does not have the option of adding both files and folders together i.e. all data must be in a folder i.e. it does not allow a combination of files and folders in the root location before you add it to a compilation. Other than that, it does seem promising.
I recently used CDBurnerXP to write to a CD that Nero would simply refuse to finalize. CDBurnerXP gave some error 003 on finalizing but at least, the data was intact (the disc was blank at the end after writing in the case of Nero). I'm starting to like this software as it's quite small too.
