I just transferred 48 mins of video from a Sony HandyCam to my computer using the Microsoft Movie Maker. The file has been saved as a 180MB WMV file and plays perfectly in WMP/WinAmp.
I wanted to create a VCD from the movie, so I used Nero's VCD option wherein I specify the WMV file and it automatically burns a VCD. This was done without any error message and the burn process completed successfully.
When I play the VCD in any player, including my PC, the video moves at 2x speed whereas the audio is at 1x. The video part of the VCD ends at 24mins whereas the audio continues for 48 mins (the second half of the playtime shows only a blank screen).
What could have caused this problem? Is there any setting that I have missed or I should set before burning the VCD?
