"Majority of Indians against FB's FB services" - oh the irony - only the Indians with internet connectivity in the first place have their voices heard. Feel sad for the poor folks who don't have connectivity.

I say FB should be allowed maybe as a trial basis to see how many poor Indians are benefitted, then let them also put in their "votes" online if they want to continue or not with it.

I'm amazed that you think the poorer sections will really benefit from their services. And I hope you know how these "number" things can be altered and manipulated. Want to know how shady they already are? The pre-made message for TRAI in support of Internet.org/FreeBasics which they showed to facebook users.
If facebook was genuinely concerned about the poor let them start an NGO which addresses their issues and helps them. Zuckerberg only cares about the money and to impress his investors.
