okay so my netgear d834g is bricked while trying to upgrade its firmware. is there any chance of RMA?? its still under warranty (it ends next month).
after the upgrade failed i tried the netgear recovery utility as well. but the damn thing is very buggy. still i got it to work somehow, but i carelessly used it on vista. the utility started the process of erasing the EPROM and gave a BSOD.
so now im stuck with a router that wont even get detected by the recovery utility. tried all 'resets' but no use. now the option of replacement remains. i hope i get a replacement without any problems, ill just act like a total noob and say it just stopped working.
