Netgear wg311 issue

Hi,
pter I bought a netgear wg311 wifi network adapter.
It does not detect the wireless network at all. i have Vista running and linksys Wrt54gl.

plz help me set up a wireless network.

first check if it is showing in the device management tab and see if it is properly installed. Then check for the green activity light on the back of the card outside the cabby. Checkthese two things and let us know
 
There is an entry in the device manager but i dont see lan card led glowing
on the back panel of the cpu.

I have installed the drivers from the CD that i got along with the card
