Network Porting

I am on Virgin GSM network and want to change to DOCOMO wherever i go they say it is not possible . Any other workarounds for this i want to use the old number but need to change to DoCoMo for Internet speed and plans .

May i ask the reason? I have similar connectio ns.i actually prefer virgin! They both use the same network so speeds are similar.are you talking about 3g plans?

The service here is horrible. It takes atleast 4-5 retries to connect to internet sometimes the servers are down for hours. My friends with docomo can stream moblie youtube without any hiccups but it takes ages to load a simple 2 min video . They removed the incoming 10p/min .

Try to send the porting SMS.

Sent the porting sms but there was no reply so i called them and got that porting number and when i went to DoCoMo office and asked about porting they said it can't be done.
