I was having this trouble with my Dataone connection. Its a 512Kbps UL plan. For past month I was having this "Phone Line Busy" error whenever I tried to connect to the Internet through my PPPoE setup. Yesterday the telephone guy cam and told me that in PPPoE mode I would have to give UserID and Password in the Modem itself whilst in Bridging mode I will have to Dial in from my Window's PPPoE connection. So first I went to Router Config menu 192.168.1.1 and gave my UserID and Password and it rebooted the router and it worked
Later I reverted back to Bridging mode and started dialing from Windows it works but now I'm facing 2 mucho big problemos :
1. I'm not able to open any site now other than few one or two.
2. LAN connection is showing limited or no connectivity.
3.Upon entering 192.168.1.1 it shows "Connection with server was reset"
Although I'm getting 58KBps+ speeds in my uTorrent downloads and sites like TE and Digit's is opening. Its driving me mad.
