I know f all about networking..and I'm in need of sharing my internet conn with a cousin of mine who has moved in with us (he'll stay for sometime) and he has insisted on bringing his desktop with him. He's also got a D-Link GLB-802C modem with him.
Now I've got a Desktop with a BSNL connection and a Huwaei WA1003A modem with me. So
1. is it possible to share my internet connection between the 2 desktops? (needless to say they're in different rooms about 10 ft apart)
2. If yes, then how? and what all will I need to make this sharing thing work?
Do note that I'm not too keen creating a network to share any data but if its a byproduct of sharing the net conn. then I have no qualms
