How good is the signal coverage practically compared to the previous router you have had.

My earlier router was 3500l. This is def a vast improvement.
I used to have 1 bar on my phone / tab etc. Now i get 3. See the wifi sign in the pic.

can you tell me whats the max "tx power" you could get? also did you try to install dd-wrt? How was the performance of it in comparion to asus firmware?
I am still using rt-n13u just because I can boost the txpower till 250mw (above 21dbm), although I understand it would create much of noise only but atleast there's potential when needed.

Also whats the reason, why are you upgrading? What is this router not able to do what you wanna do?

Nope i haven't tried dd-wrt as i am happy with stock and asus merlin.

How do i check the max tx power??
