2 Computers A n B
Computer A - 2 Lan Card, 1 for Connecting B and another to ADSL modem( internet access point)
Computer A is configured for ICS.

Computer B - 1 Lan Card connected to 2nd Lan card of Computer B

Computer A and B are connected By Crossover connection.

Now the problem is now and then my link seems to be broken. i.e I cannot browse LAN nor connect to net from B. Computer A can connect to net but NO LAN to B. What is the problem? I been having this problem for over a month now.The thing is it works with no problems sometimes and sometimes it dosent work at all. I thought the problem was with corrupted windows and so did a fresh install but still this problem is reoccuring.
 
Get a good rj45 connector or maybe something is wrong with the lan cable.

Why dont you try the lan cable at your friends place or in your college lab or somthing.
 
lan cables must be fine well I dant test it as it runs down from top floor to ground floor. Hmm well the thing is if i connect the modem to the lan cable of top of my comp with another crossover cable it works fine without any problems so I think LAN cable cannot be the problem.
