i have 3 lan cards installed in P4
& connected the Q6600 & DV9500 with crossover cable
& i want to share files & internet from P4

i used ip's / subnet respecively

p4 = lan 1 = internet ip
(ran the wizard, this pc connects to internet & other computers share internet through this pc)

P4 = lan 2 = 192.168.0.1 / 255.255.255.0

Q6600 = 192.168.0.2 / 255.255.255.0

DV9500 = 192.168.0.3 / 255.255.255.0
guys, please help as i cannot connect the pc's,
i've also disabled the firewall / antivirus

OK, first change ur IP to 192.178.10.1. Reason: Always set ur IP to some odd numbers, so that it doesn't conflict with ur internet IP address. Then have u made workgroup with the same name on all 3 PC's? If not then make a workgroup with same name on all PC and don't forget to change the settings in "Allow other computer to share internet from this PC". (something like this). Then have u shared the drives, which u want? Also use ping in command prompt. Somewhat troubleshooting skills of urs will be required :)

If you really want help try drawing a rough diag of your setup replete with the connection from each and every NIC along with the IPs assigned to them...
