Ford and Shelby Automobiles announced today the launch of the new 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500KR. This is the most powerful Mustang ever produced and it is inspired by the 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby Cobra GT500KR. The "King of the Road" is powered by a 5.4L supercharged V8 producing 540 horsepower and 510 lb-ft. of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a six-speed tranny.

They have not upgraded the suspension, cos the overall price of the car will increase to another 5000$.

This time they have used ford gt v8 supercharged engine for the car, and the horse power is approx 440.
