Asus has announced its new A8Js notebook which is built around Intel's new Core 2 Duo processors. The A8Js features a 14.1" WXGA+ (1440x900) screen and comes packed with NVIDIA's latest solution for the mobile graphics arena.
Under the hood lays NVIDIA's new 12 pipe, 80nm GeForce Go 7700 graphics card with 512MB of memory. NVIDIA promises 50% more pixel bandwidth than with previous GeForce Go 7600. Other features included with the A8Js include support for up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, a built in webcam, 802.11a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, five USB 2.0 ports, a DVI port, multi-card reader and an ExpressCard slot. The new notebook measures 13.19" x 9.65" x 1.37" and weighs in at 6.5 pounds
