Hello Members,

We know how much you've been missing TE for the last few days. To make up for all of it, we're announcing three new contests. These contests will be held every month and we'll be giving out prizes to the winners. The rules and other guidelines along with prizes will be announced at a later date. These contests will kick off in October 2010. So be prepared!

1. Member of the Month (MOTM) - It will award the most helpful member during the entire month. The rules have been revised and we'll let you know soon.
2. Desktop of the Month (DOTM) - It will award the best desktop for the month. Its a show-off contest and there's even a little surprise feature in store for you, which will be announced later.
3. Writer of the Month (WOTM) - It will award the best technical writer for the month - be it a news post, a product review or anything else. If its tech writing, it qualifies.

Watch out for related announcements all through this month on TE.

This is a great event. It will encourage more the members to be active in this forum and to share their knowledge to the users :)
 
Seems a great announcement. Btw, we can predict Desktop of the Month (DOTM) winner. Seems like tooli or anks are the sureshot winner. :P
