New Defy with Froyo pre installed

Hi Guys . My friend planning to buy defy. probably through letsbuy... My doubt is that

whether the new stock is with Froyo preinstalled..? any new buyer from letsbuy?

really.??..the 2.1 was the only thing stopping me from buyin it .would have to spend so much time reading abt rooting and other stuff..the demo pieces kept at croma had the 2.1.

@Darkangel...was the phone bought from letsbuy?

His question was whether there are new buyers from letsbuy who got froyo pre-installed. So since i replied to it, isn't it obvious its from letsbuy! From where else can we get it for ~14.5k :D

My friend had ordered it on last Thursday and go it this Monday (~14.3k with free BT)

can any1 tell whats the manufacturing date of defy from letsbuy ?

i asked the ebay seller and he said march ,2011 . Just want to confirm whether I will get 2.2 out of the box ?
getting it for 13850 on ebay vs 14.6K on letsbuy (with headset) so was thinking of getting from ebay .

I got my defy two days back from letsbuy and it came with eclair. Manufactured in May 2011. Guess I got an older piece. Was hoping to get a newer version after seeing the comments on letsbuy. Nevermind though.
