Security Software New Folder.exe Virus.

This is a virus that affects all USB devices only.

Now I unfortunately got this too.

How do I get rid of the virus? Does anyone know?

Anti-Virus - NOD32, Kaspersky.

Spybot Search and Destroy.

Ah well the Malawarebytes software is not detecting it either.

Is it better than ESET?

Ok I used Kaspersky 2010. It's by far the best.

The only Virus removal software that actually found and deleted the trojans.

I use usb disk security Along with kis 2010. They both do the job for me. I've never been infected by any kind of virii of any sort for the past 2 years now. You could give it a try too. Oh and btw.. Usb disk security isn't a freeware. I guess you know where you should be looking for it.

I faced the same problem around a month ago. This New Folder.exe virus basically disable task manager and registry editor. It also eats up 50% processor.

To remove it I just downloaded this small software and it worked like a charm for me.

Hope this will fix your problem.

I had this one last week and avast detected and removed it.

KIS is great. It's anti virus and anti spyware is really powerful.
