I was thinking of upgrading to a GTX 460 or HD 6870. I wanna upgrade to a 18.5-20 inch LED-LCD monitor aswell. I will most likely be gaming @ 1600 X 900 but I'm not sure because of my recent experience with a 18.5 inch monitor using a GTS 250 which was causing performance issues compared to my old CRT monitor. The fps was coming good but somehow I wasn't getting performance in multiplayer games compared to my old CRT monitor. Please help

Will the HD 6870 be enough for gaming @ 1600 X 900? Which LED-LCD monitor is good for gaming @ 1600 X 900? And recommended PSU?

^^ For monitor get the Dell IN2030M ~ 6500/- [LED back-lit TN panel, 20" widescreen] OR BenQ G2220HD ~ 7300/- [22" full HD supporting TN panel],

for graphics card get the AMD HD 6850 / 6870 ~ 9500/- OR 11500/-, enough muscle for current generation games @full HD with medium eye-candy but on a 20" screen both should perform better, so don't fret about performance for at-least a year from now if you stick to your 20" screen,

Recommended SMPS minimum go for the Corsair VX 550W ~ 4400/-.

Hope this helps, Sire.

BenQ g2220HD from letsbuy for 6640/- using RCOMLB1 coupon from letsbuy.com
for gpu - a 6850 should be enough for med-high settings for all games with playable fps.

For psu please give your full system specs.
We also need to check if your bottlenecked by cpu etc.

Also mention your total budget. This would help us to suggest the best for your budget.
