New HTC phone, Desire V with dual-SIM, Android 4.0 and Beats audio announced



A New phone has been announced by HTC, named the Desire V with features dual-SIM functionality, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and Beats audio for Europe and Asia. It has been officially announced for Ukraine and Indonesia, and it features a WVGA 4 inch display and runs on ICS with HTC sense 4. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz single core processor and has a 5 MegaPixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, with Beats audio support.

The phone is only 9.3 mm think and weighs in at 114 grams. HTC had previously launched a similar phone in China with GSM + CDMA Dual sim functionality and it was named as Desire VC. The phone also has FM radio, internal RAM of 512 MB, Internal storage of 4 GB, and obvious features such as 3G, Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, micro-USB, GPS / AGPS, 3.5 mm audio jack. It also comes with a 25GB free Dropbox storage that is valid to be used for 2 years.

The phone will reportedly be priced at around US$ 325.

It's based on the same chip found in the Spice mi-355/425 and Karbonn a9, so it probably won't perform any better.
