New Idea ZTE Blade from ebay

Dear Members,

I am interested in buying the phone from below link

BRAND NEW IDEA ZTE BLADE | ONE YR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY | eBay

Please suggest;
1. Can this phone be "ROOTED" with much out any Problem
2. All Available ROMs for ZTE/Dell XCD35 are supported ?

It is same as XCD35/ZTE Blade Gen 2.. So no probs..
But, Why dont you increase your budget a little and go for better phones?

The IDEA blade has 256 MB RAM and its not compatible with many of the custom ROMS for XCD35 and ZTE BLADE.

I think it can be unlocked to 512MB as it is same as ZTE BLade.. Correct me If I am wrong.

It only has 256 MB RAM , and all ROMS are not compatible with the IDEA BLADE. (touchscreen and camera problems)

Sanav is right. The RAM in Idea Blade cannot be unlocked and it is a variant of the ZTE Blade which is sold in China. Although some custom ROMs work on it, the performance is so-so. Even with 512MB RAM, my Blade (XCD 35) tends to run out of memory while playing heavy games on an ICS ROM. 256MB is too little, IMO.
