New ISP Navi Mumbai, which one?

I've been having problems with Reliance, which has been my ISP for quite awhile.

Made payment via cash to delivery boy, got receipt for the same. Guy steals the cash (evidently) and my net gets disconnected for non payment. For the last 2 weeks I have no internet @ home save my data card. Scanned copies of the receipt have been mailed and a reliance executive has also picked up a photocopy of the fake receipt. 10 days - matter is still showing as "resolving". I'm tired of dialling their toll free no.

Can anyone let me know of any ISP' in New Bombay offering 1 or 2 mbps ultd plans? Preferably no caps. And I'd prefer to pay under 2K / month.

Can anyone also give me contact nos of such ISPs? Any comments on the service of the ISP in the area would also be appreciated. I'm located @ Kharghar.
 
MTNL 1mbps UL at 999 is the best plan these days. SSV cable is also offering 1mbps UL at 960 but MTNL would prove to be a zero downtime connection for you.
 
Does MTNL really have good service? I've heard sporadic complaints. Also speed isn't always 1 mbps at the user end. A colleague has MTNL and his speeds dip @ night. This is one of the reasons I stayed with Reliance - their speeds are rock steady.

Airtel good?
 
Nah, no problem of MTNL connection.Speed is constant throughout day for me.No down times at all.MTNL rocks

Every ISP has a downtime.... u just cnt avoid it .. i hav used sify, reliance( wimax) ,youtel,ssv for a month or so... and lastly i m on mtnl.. for about 6 mnths it was ok ..till they decide to change the my phone no ..from Trubhe exchange to Sanpada Exchange...and i have seen a hell lot of problems from then...speeds not consistent.. issues with torrents..downtime of about 2 or 3 days...as if now.. my net is still down...i hv been following up with all the heads in both trubhe exchange and sanpada exchange and nothing has changed...so chose wisely.... i m thinking of taking up nivyah ISP bt i m nt sure how good it is in Sanpada.. any guys on nivayh cud put some more light on this...
 
i"m myself using niyah,had problems with their downtimes,reply wasn't consistent...now quite happy with their service..have taken 512kbps UL which doubles at night to 1Mbps...
 
Nivyah sucks donkey balls.And for 5 net atleast in thane speeds are pathetic and the dc hub thing from 5 net is just bad gimmick.I have shifted to mtnl from nivyah.
