Recently I got a call from Bludart and a guy named Verma called and told me that he is the branch manager and there is a document that needs to be delivered to me and the courier guy could not locate my address and asked me to give him a call to the number he has sent me through sms. Ironically I was expecting a document from Bludart that was to be delivered on that day and this Verma guy had my address and spelt it out correctly and identified that the document is from Mumbai. I asked him to give my number to the courier guy and have him call me but he told that the courier guy was unable to reach me. I then believed him and was about to call the number he had texted *21*6354422054 and then realized that he has sent a call forward number with *21*. He insisted that I dial the full number. After this I blocked this guy and he kept calling me for another hour.
In the meantime I also got my document delivered by Bludart. It is surprising to note that this Verma guy was aware of a document that was to be delivered to my address and tried to scam me. Seems like a inside job and one need to be careful. I contacted Bludart and they were clueless and told that there are several scams and this might be one among them. This guy name is Ashok Verma and his number is 07016493282.
