Laptops New Laptop for 30k

Hi,

A friend of mine is buying a laptop.
His budget 30k max.
Usage: Movies, Internet, General Office usage. Not much into games.

He has shortlisted the following 4 models.

TOSHIBA L300 - P5012
Compaq Presario CQ60-313AU
Acer Aspire 5738z
lenovo 2958 53q
Which of these would you suggest would be the best VFM?
Or is there anything else better out there which I have missed out?

Also which place in Bangalore is likely to give the best bargain for the laptop?

I would select Acer 5738z from selected models. And Will give you one more choice as Dell Inspiron 14 to think about.

All the lappys are almost having same configs. So select a lappy based on a good after sales IMO here
 
The Acer 5536G gives the ultimate VFM in that price range. It comes with a great CPU, chipset and graphics combo and at an amazing price. Go for it.

I asked him to buy either

Acer, or

Dell or

Toshiba

in that order.
