Laptops New Laptop?

Hello friends,
One of my friends wants to buy a laptop around 35 to 40k and will be needing it for the following tasks: Practice C, Java etc i.e. basically practice the programming languages, listen to music, play games, can use it for the next 5 years and as per him it should have nice speed and shouldn't give him much "technical problems" [well dat depends on him :bleh: ]
