Just take a look at it guys.
Two vertical wings and the horns like the Mclaren. This is from friday practice.

i think they are there for a scientific reason rather then asthetic value....

i think its to break down the force of wind .. enabling the car to go faster ...(i gave up science a long time ago, so someone pls explain this in a better way :bleh:)

u know what that reminds me of? the thing that is used on horses' eyes to keep them 'focused' on looking forward.. :ohyeah:

ROFL...;looking at their performance this season, their drivers will need those things to keep them focussed :P sorry fanbois
On a serious note..i think it is to direct the windflow to the right areas of the rear wing to give better aerodynamics and more downforce

hey actually, those wings present may give the BMW team a huge advantage coz those wings present on the either side of the suspensions, are added so that the team can generate additional downforce and let me remind u guys that the track is not known for its downforce(high/low) it depends upon the tyres and mayb the tyres are not providin the required amount of grip,so the tyres are used to reduce the wear and tear of the car, lets see the qualifyin tomm, mayb i can tell u guys more

Yeah it certainly is there to help the dynamics of the car but hell now the drivers have a huge set of blind spots. As it was they could hardly see out of the car..
