Mac OS New Mac. Need help !

Hey guys.

Just bought a new Macbook and I am completely new to the iOs. I need to buy Office for MAc separately right ? Also Do you guys recommend getting the Windows too ? Also the cheapest places to get authentic Office for Mac. Ebay shows 4700 minimum.

Responses will be really appreciated.
 
Yes office for mac is separate is different version altogether. The latest is Office 2011 which has Word, excel, power point and if you get the business version you get outlook too. I have the 2011 business version but I got mine from my university store in Singapore so I have no idea where to source the cheapest in India.

Things like MS project, infopath and access are not available for mac as far as I know
 
In our office we use Liber Office. :)

Pretty good solution. Feature rich and a practical alternative to the buggy MS Office for Mac. However, with the new Office updates, it looks pretty slick and efficient. Just used it recently to publish a few PDF documents made in Microsoft Word. Pretty smooth.
