CPU/Mobo New Motherboard & Processor

My Mother board died last night:( , sort of drink spilled on the system when the cabinet is open, the config was MSI K8mmV, AMD Athlon 3000+, dynet 1 GB 400 mhz ram ddr1, Geforce 6200 graphics card.

I am palnning to buy a new one tommorow:clap: intel based, i am looking at the following configuration, pls comment and can u tell me the prices & where to get in hyderabad:huh: .

Intel c2d Intel E6550 @ 6800
MSI p35 NEO @6700, ABit is not available in hyderabad
Transcend 1 GB DDR2 800 Mhz@ 1100
Sparkle 8500 @ 2500 ( I am planning to get 8800 from USA in 3-4 months):eek:hyeah:
I mostly use the system for gaming and browsing, i am not into overclocking, i have stretched my budget very much to get to this config.

i am currently using a Zebronics antibiotic cabinet with zebronics platinum SMPS, i think it is sufficient????????

and what will i get for the old parts??????????

Maybe the motherboard is drunk :p

How on earth it spilled..........er....never mind. Why MSI??? Dont they have xfx boards there. Maybe there's a GO for that board, check it our if ya want

I am putting a lot of stress on the rig:eek:hyeah: , so it thought i should give it a drink to relax:bleh:

as for MSI Board, its the only p35 board i could firn in hyderabad, if i ask for abit or any board, they say they dont have it, and my budget for the mother board is <7K
 
can u get your hands on a biostar p35 board?

the msi p35 doesnt have very good reviews

you could even opt for a 650i based mobo
 
get the biostar or the abit shipped from phoniex or rahul from the dealers paradise section buddy. msi are not worth , u knows u might jus wanna OC the beast. plus even with all shipping they will fall in your budget . the BIOSTAR will be like 5 k for u with shipping and all i guess.

Get the Biostar or the aBit P35 shipped from Phoenix..

He's a Regd. Dealer in the TE forum(read trusted!!!)..

And a big NO fer MSI... :no:
