Google Nexus 7 is already doing well in India and now available at a good price, but if you are waiting for the second generation Nexus 7 which was unveiled last month, you wont have to wait much longer.
Peter Chang, country manager for Asus India told The Hindu,“The process for the second generation is under control, and, hopefully, by our fourth quarter, we will be introduce it to India.”
According to Chang, the original Nexus 7 has performed well in Indian markets and met their internal targets.
So we can expect the new Nexus 7 to be officially here by the end of year. Imported ones can be bought already for as low as Rs 19000, so the official price can be expected to be around Rs 18000- Rs 20000 for the 16GB version which retails for $229 in the USA.
