Galaxy Pro @ 7.5k (Letsbuy with coupon code) Will be good for you. Android, Qwerty+touch and overall decent phone. Battery life is not as good though.

Second Option is good ole Nokia E5, Tried and tested. though you don't get touch and android, but batter backup is very good.

I don't think you can get Dual Sim + Android. Dual Sim phones are generally basic purpose phones, not so high on features.

Thanks for the reply guys, should micromax be considered?

Nokia E5 is only QWERTY right?

And since Android 2.3 is coming in the market, can i upgrade the OS on Samsung Galaxy pro which has a 2.2 version?

E5 is only QWERTY.

You can get many useful apps on Ovi store. But it cannot compare with ANdroid store in sheer number of apps.

But it can get the work done, all necessary apps are available.

Galaxy Pro is better option IMO. Dont know when 2.3 Update officially, but it might have got it unofficially (Google it, cant say for sure)

But GP is quite zippy even with 2.2. Another downside is low res screen. :(

Though Touch +type is a joy to use :)

Yup as Shubham says Symbian gets the job done. But it disappoints when it comes to fun games or entertainment apps.

Also the lack of touch in the E5 is a downer.

The Galaxy Pro is out of stock in letsbuy. Flipkart is your best bet i guess.

Micromax or No micromax is your own decision. Personally I would not like myself to be seen with a MM phone

Plus MM QWERTY have simple Java OS which are not as good as symbian (wayy wayy behind Android). So the price point might be tempting but i don't think they are worth buying, especially when your budget allows a better phone.
