whats the real difference between general modules and system specific modules ?

Where does the general module lack and how is that overcome by system specific module ?

Hiya Harry,

The general memory module doesn't lack in any way - it's different from the system specific modules. The difference is in the customisation. The system specific modules are customised to suit certain brands of notebooks - Apple, Lenovo, Dell etc. So if you're looking for a RAM that is perfectly compatible with for example, your Lenovo notebook, you can head to our website and search for a module that fits its specifications.

Hope that helps
