can i build a pc under 30k.no graphic cards. good cooling with a psu of400w.including monitor and everything else.

guys plz help me out.

i recently got a pc for my frnd ..

the budget was 32k ..

17" monitor |2.66 Mhz|512 MB RAM|80 GB HDD | Microsoft Combo Keyboard and mouse| Sony DVD Writer | Samsung CD ROM| Creative 2.1 inspire | Connexant TV tuner Card|

i guess u can see wot u can remove from the above list to make urs

First thing check the budgets and configs thread. But also what do u want to use it for, thats the most important thing. Also mention what type of speakers u want, do u want a dvd writer, what monitor u want(LCD/CRT), otherwise its pointless saying heres a budget and tell me which comp.

Then here goes

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ - 5.7k
Asus A8N-VM motherboard - 4.4k
2X512 MB Twinmos/Transcend RAM - 3.6k/4k
Benq 1650 DVD Writer - 2.7k
Seagate 80 GB SATA HDD -2.4k
Samsung 798MB/LG E700/Viewsonic E72+sb 17" flat monitor - 6-6.5k
Microsoft/Logitech Optical Mouse+Keyboard - 800
ATX cabinet with 400W PSU - 1.5k

But instead of the 80 GB for 2.4k go for a 120 GB for 3k or 160 GB for 3.5k, much better VFM.

Specs and prices of a buddy's recently acquired rig!!
Prices in Mumbai!!
But be prepared to take off your clothes to bargain!!;)
Thats a joke, some people who know this will understand:rofl: , not for you:cool2: !!

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ - 5.7k, maybe lower if u r lucky, say 5.5k
Asus A8N-VM motherboard - 4k
Transcend with samsung UCCC RAM - 4k
LG 4167b DVD Writer - 2.4k
Seagate 80 GB SATA HDD -2.4k
LG non flat 17" monitor - 5k, slightly lower actually
Microsoft/Logitech Optical Mouse+Keyboard - 775/-
VIP ATX cabinet with 400W PSU - 2.2k

Total= 26.5 approx!!:clap:

so you can put another 1-1.5k for 17" flat monitor!!
And 1-1.2k for 160GB SATA HDD!!
