Budget 31-40k New PC required for RH Server Vitualization (Budget 40k)

I need to pick up a PC for a friend who is into Server Virtualizations and looking for a PC that will help him learn virtualization. Here are the details:


  1. Q: What is your budget?
    • 40K
  2. Q: What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)
    • Nothing

  3. Q: Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)
    Starting from scratch..



  1. Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
    • CPU - A quad core proccy
    • Motherboard - any compatible motherboard
    • Ram: 16 gb DDR3



  1. Q: Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
    • Yes,

  2. Q: Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)
  3. Q: Would you consider buying a second hand hardware from the TE market
    • No
  4. Q: What is your intended use for this PC/hardware
    • Browsing
    • RH Virtualization, VMware etc etc
    • Download rig, 24x7 operation
    • Watching movies
    • Will not be gaming

  5. Q: Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them and the reason for your preference/dislike.
    Any brand with decent A.S.S in bangalore

  4. Q: Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
    • Windows 7 64 bit
    • Linux - RH

Guys, He is working in this domain from 4 years and now looking to build a computer that will help him emulate and practice RH virtualizations. This is what i got when he spoke to me. Apart from this, he will use the PC for normal home use, movies and music. Please recommend a complete solution including UPS and Monitor that will help him with his subject and will last for atleast 3-5 years.

If he wants Intel, this is what I suggest --

GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/-
Corsair Vengeance 4GB x4 ~6000/-
[rest same-same and no need to buy a separate graphics card]
