PC Peripherals New PC within a tight budget of 15k

Hi All,

I need advice regarding buying a new PC for a school going kid within 15k.
AMD might be a better option to go with as per the suggestions for cheap rigs in the forum but might go as well with Intel (especially Atom).

I've seen the guide by sidhu too, but still need your advice.

Zebronics cabinet w/PSU - 1K

Creative speakers - 0.5K (optional)
Intel based config .. :)
 
It would be better if u can specify what kinda usage the pc will have......how old is the school going kid ? the next thing u know his dear friend got a pimped up pc and he starts pestering for his pc upgrade :lol: and why he cant play THAT game which his other friends can!

Atom Setup - 3.5k

160gb hdd - 1.9k

Normal speakers - 0.6k

1 gb transend - 0.7k

Iball cabinet - 0.8k

VIP 400 - 0.6k

Logitech kbb/mouse- 0.7k

Dvd RW - 1.1k

Viewsonic 16" lcd - 5k

Total : 14900

Get a nVidia chipset with a onboard GeForce 7*** series if you dont plan to upgrade in near future. Only go for brands like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and XFX.

That's not a good decision at all , i would get a cheaper procy and invest in a TFT . :hap5:
