New phone for dad

Budget is ~15-16k. He has an old SE K750i, which is about to die any day now.
Would prefer non-QWERTY, as he doesn't like my E71, and is not too much of a power user. Basic calling, good camera, texting and emails.

Was looking at the Nokia N79 and N82. What do you guys suggest? What are the comparable SE phones in this price range?

Even though the Nokia 5800XM does not have a good camera, it is still a good all rounder device.

Nope, need a physical keypad. TS is an absolute no-no.

W995 or w705 if going strictly for that budget. 705 scores for wifi and 995 over camera. Choose what suits you.
