I have bought the 450w power supply it looks like the 600w series in the link u have given, just the difference is there's no led fan just a simple fan & no cable sleeve..............

I too want to buy a 500w psu.Budget is within 2k.

Seventeam 450 is 2.5K odd and a better buy that the powersafe 500 as it has the same specs as the seventeam 500 on the 12v rails but lil lower on the 3.3v and 5v rails.

Try other places as well. Prime is generally a bit higher than other shops. Plus you can keep your PSU if you upgrade.
Also how is the Glacial Power 550. Also does it make sense to upgrade to the Corsair 450W for 4.2k. I mean won't it consume less power and translate into power savings.

Past few months, i have had people telling me Prime is charging lower than most shops at lammy.
If you have the moolah, the VX450 is a no brainer.

Has 5 year warranty too iirc.
Between the Seventeam 500 and the CM 600, which are one and the same infact, the CM600 has more SATA connectors than the Seveteam 500 that has only 2.

Dunno about the no. of molexes.

But where in Lamington Road do you get Seventeam ? It is not listed on Primes website.
