I had posted abt my mbo with the display problem, turns out that it was bcoz of my ram. So want to buy a new 512 mb ram. Please dont suggest Transcend and post the approx prices.

AFAIK it is sold in plastic packaging, and yeah, it is the best now

It'll be a sealed box. The RAM has a Twinmos hologram on it. Very hard to fake that . Make sure the box is not open. For branded RAM, its not necessary for the dealer to sign the ram either.
