My brother in Canada is looking to buy a new rig for himself. Pls. Suggest what could be the best config he could buy in a budget of a 1000 CAD.

This will contain everything - monitor,speakers etc.

Main Purpose is gaming and watching HD movies.

Pls. suggest me the best config he could buy.

1000 CAD is equivalent to $946 USD

pls. help me out here guyz........

Suggest him to check prices on newegg.com then he might have the idea the components he plans to purchase. Then our fellow TE MEMBERS will help you and your brother.
 
Well, I wanted to know what could be the best combination of components under that budget, "the components he plans to purchase" is what the dilemma is all about.

And he knows about newegg.com, the problem is he doesnt know what to buy so as to give max performance under that budget (i.e 900USD)
 
There is disparity between us and indian pricing.so let him make a wish list also you can refer the te buying guide and would learn some combinations so pricing can be matched acc.
