Hi,

Please give configuration based on both amd / pentium based processors. Max budget is 25k with some gaming possibility.
 
the best rig for your budget IMHO :

Intel Core2Duo E7400 @ Rs.5400/-

Sapphire Ati Radeon 5750 @ Rs.9121/- (Optional)

Monitor is excluded. If monitor also required then remove HD5750 from the budget and insert a 22" monitor of ur choice.

Grand Total : Rs.29394/- with HD 5750 and Rs.20273/- without HD 5750

This costs you around ~25k. happy gaming :D Get a cheap speaker or heaset for 250rs.

how good is a gaming rig without out monitor even if it have 5750?? :D

yes of course...but he hasn't mentioned that he requires the monitor too. If he already have a monitor then he can go for HD 5750...other buy the monitor and leave the HD 5750.

is Athlon II X2 comparable to E7400?

hmmm just the kind of thread I was going to start.

So me the hijacking this one.

I like the one suggested by Anubis, since I'm not much into gaming.

So +1 for Anubis.

Can someone suggest some GPU options for the Anubis rig. :)
 
Karthi007 's rig is much better than mine considering he could fit a graphics card in the 25k bracket.

If you have additional budget for a graphics card

ATI 4850 - 6.5k ( Minimum for a 22" for full HD gaming )
Ati 4670 - 4.2k
 
Thanks for the suggestion Anubis. Well for now getting a rig similar to what you suggested because for me quad core is definitely better than two. GPU probably two months down the line.
