Hi guys
one of my friends needs a new rig with a budget of 35k
so i was thinking of

intel C2D 6300
Mobo-Im puzeled for this he needs on board grafix
Ram 1 gig Kingston 533mhz
HDD seagate 160 gig sata
CRT monitor -which one ??
DVD writer again which??
case with psu

CPU - Intel C2D 6300 = 10k

Mobo- Asus P5LD2 VM SE = 5.5k

Ram - 1 gig Kingston 533mhz = 4.5k

HDD - seagate 160 gig sata = 3.2k

CRT monitor - Samsung 793S = 5k

DVD writer - LG H10N = 2.1k

psu - powersafe 450w (L&C OEM) = 1.2k

cabby - Antec SLK3000B = 3.3k

front fan for cabby - panaflo 120mm = 0.2k

Total = 35k
 
errr... dude.... you wont get a new rib in 35k man.. think abt it...its not that easy to remove and replace.. yaar.. .... it would cost ya a lot more....

(maybe you can get one rib.... but you should bargain for ek ke upar ek free schemes too :p)

anyways.. lol.. which gfx to add ... a good one that can last a couple of years.... and hmm which lcd.. prefrably 17' ..but lemmeknow prices for a 15' too..( a friend wanna buy a comp)

also .. hmm... what abt those branded conroe setups.. ae they worth going for? ccause my friends dad doesnt agree to buying an assembled comp

I would suggest you consult some good orthopedic doctor for that rather than asking in a place where not even a single doctor is available ....

had a chat with suhayl on msn messenger & he said his friend wants a 250gb sata2 hdd, keyboard, mouse & a card reader too but does not want a graphics card & a 3.5k+ Cabinet

awesome prices go for it except that the 7600GS is priced high as we get Palit 7600GT for 8.5k shipped

just dont buy powersafe 400w
 
The HDD and RAM prices are high too. the prices for the 160 and 250 gig drives are 3.1k and 3.9k(maybe lower for the 250 gig). RAM is aorund 2.2-2.3k for DDR2-533
 
not meaning to hijack the thread or anything but guys, how does the P5LD2-VM SE compare with the asrock HDTV-TWINS 2.0 motherboard?
Not overclockwise but stock performance(Onboard GFX) and reliability wise??
